Michael Schur, writer for “The Office” and creator of “The Good Place” recently wrote a book called “How to Be Perfect“. The title is meant to be a little clickbaity, but it largely just follows concepts that he explored in The Good Place surrounding historical philosophers and complex moral issues.

While it’s a great read, and I encourage you to check it out, one line kind of stood out as solid advice as we head into the new year. He quoted poet Maya Angelou, who simply said:

“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

I don’t know how 2022 was for you, but good or bad let’s all work to be even better in 2023.
