Google+ Android app gets some nice updates

Still no tablet version (why?!?), but Google released a new version of the Google+ app for Android and it has some nice fixes.

  • Massive performance improvements across the app
  • What’s Hot!
  • View who +1’d a post or comment
  • Stream posts shortened to fit more per scroll
  • Infinite photos feed in ‘From your circles’
  • Stream no longer jumps to the top for an automatic refresh (yay!)

Solid improvements for sure.  You can get it in the Android Market here.

  1. Big downside is that hangouts ititiated from the app don’t show up in the web version. I don’t get why google can’t make hangouts better. It is such an awesome feature…
