Over the course of 2022, I read a total of roughly 70 books. I say “roughly” for two reasons:
- As the new year rolls around, I also have some books that I’m in the middle of. Which year should they count toward? I generally use the completed date, but it’s a little grey.
- More importantly, a good chunk of these books (probably half of them) were done using my big reading shortcut. I still put a few hours into them, but not nearly as long as reading the full book.
That being said, here are my favorites 10 from the year, in no particular order, with links to a post of mine with more thoughts on the book, and those posts all have links to buy it for yourself (mostly on Amazon).
- Radically Relevant
- The Psychology of Money
- Blind Spots
- Twelve and a Half
- The Obstacle is the Way
- Indistractable
- Thinking In Bets
- Digital Body Language
- The Half-Life of Facts
- The Personal MBA
It’s hard to pick a single favorite, so I’m not going to try to, but out of 70 books I found these to be the best 10.
What were some of your favorite reads in 2022?
