In an effort to help me keep up with everything I post each week, here is my latest “Sunday Summary” of my posts from the week.
Mon, February 5: You can’t hope for consumer reality
There are certain ways that I’d love to see consumers behave, but it’s not up to me. They’ll do what they’re going to do, and accepting it is always your best bet.
Tue, February 6: Everything you purchase is a bargain
It might not always be objectively a good deal, but if you make a purchase you’re indicating that the product is worth more to you than the money you spent on it.
Wed, February 7: Hindsight is always superior
Hindsight makes decisions very obvious, but in the moment there is often too much going on to separate the valuable data from the noise.
Thu, February 8: Confidence with openness
You need to strike a careful balance between confidence and openness, and it’s something I consistently struggle with.
Fri, February 9: Social media is the only place that kids can go
“Kids no longer have spaces they can go to hang out with other kids without parents hovering over them at all times. Social media has become that space for many kids… so of course, adults are trying to shut it down.”
Sat, February 10: The prophet’s dilemma
What if Chicken Little’s warnings actually stopped the sky from falling?
I hope you found some value in this. If you ever have questions, ideas, or disagreements regarding anything I write, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
