In an effort to help me keep up with everything I post each week, here is my latest “Sunday Summary” of my posts from the week.
Mon, November 13: Having mutual friends doesn’t justify a connection
The number of dubious excuses for spammers to justify reaching out continues to grow, and virtually none of them are acceptable.
Tue, November 14: It’s very doable to be the most knowledgeable
If there is an industry that you want to break into, there is no reason you can’t become one of the most knowledgeable people in the world on that topic.
Wed, November 15: Can your notes be read on a 60-year-old computer?
Keeping your data in a format that can be read by really old computers will help guarantee that it can be accessed far into the future as well.
Thu, November 16: The attention span of a goldfish
Despite what you might hear, humans don’t have a shorter attention span than goldfish; they’re just not interested in what you’re sharing.
Fri, November 17: The key is not the will to win
Having the will to win is a fantastic desire, but the will to out-practice your opponents is what really can set you apart.
Sat, November 18: The week of unfollowing
Social media is getting messier, but you still (mostly) can control what you see in your feeds. Go unfollow more people and work to keep things clean.
I hope you found some value in this. If you ever have questions, ideas, or disagreements regarding anything I write, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
