In an effort to help me keep up with everything I post each week, here is my latest “Sunday Summary” of my posts from the week.
Mon, June 26: It’s about time to remove the gates
Locking valuable content up behind a “give us your email address first” gate has worked great for many years, but that time is just about over.
Tue, June 27: High standards can make things look worse
Having high standards can be a good thing, but it can make decent stuff look bad. That can be of benefit, but it’s something you need to watch out for.
Wed, June 28: AI won’t take over this blog
While I expect many blogs in the coming years to be written by AI, with potentially some good results in there, that won’t happen on here because that’s not the point of what I’m doing.
Thu, June 29: A solid business is built on trust
There are a lot of layers to building a solid business, but trust needs to be the bottom layer to add everything on top of. If that’s missing, you’re sunk.
Fri, June 30: Standards over obedience
In some cases you might need to force obedience on your team, but if you’re able to showcase standards to follow and let them do the work, it’s easier on everyone and leads to greater results.
Sat, July 1: Unfold It
I picked up the new Google Pixel Fold, and here are some of my early thoughts on it.
I hope you found some value in this. If you ever have questions, ideas, or disagreements regarding anything I write, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
