In an effort to help me keep up with everything I post each week, here is my latest “Sunday Summary” of my posts from the week.
Mon, July 3: Your oncologist doesn’t need to be a cancer survivor
While having direct experience in a field can help, it’s not always required.
Tue, July 4: Sell the customer as little as possible
Many try to sell as much as they can, but if you try to sell as little as you can at each transaction, trust grows much stronger and leads to better long-term relationships.
Wed, July 5: Can you speed it up?
Making things faster and more automated can be good at times, but it’s often way overdone.
Thu, July 6: Creativity comes from connected thoughts
If you don’t have a way to store and connect your thoughts with one another, creativity could be hard to come by.
Fri, July 7: “Make it darker” is not an acceptable form of feedback
Providing feedback on something is easy. Providing useful feedback that helps move things in the right direction is considerably more difficult.
Sat, July 8: Learning from the news
When a big news story comes along, like the loss of the Titan submersible, many people learn more about the science behind the situation. That’s fantastic, but understanding the limits of a week’s worth of “research” is key to remember.
I hope you found some value in this. If you ever have questions, ideas, or disagreements regarding anything I write, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
