What holes do I have in my knowledge?

achilles
Reading Time: < 1 minute

The idea of being on a game show scares me. In general, I think I could do pretty well on many of them, but I fear missing an easy question that “everyone” knows.

A great example is this poor guy on Wheel of Fortune years ago. He seems to be a sharp guy, but somehow just didn’t know how to pronounce the word “achilles”. It happens. For whatever reason, that particular word (that most of us know) just didn’t click for him. Here’s the clip from the show:

Same with me?

I worry about that a little bit on this blog.

“Mickey is posting about this great new thing x that he just discovered? How did he not already know about that?”

In this case, it’s a smaller audience and it’s worth the risk. I find things, I share them, and hopefully some of you get value out of that. Between the reading I do and the writing on here, I hope to fill as many of those knowledge holes as I can, though I know some will always be out there.

Maybe you already knew about Zwift or using little arrow sticky notes for highlighting, but I didn’t, and I hope it serves you well while not making me seem too foolish.
